Grace Mallinson (she/her) is a Melbourne-based designer working across set, costume, and graphic design. An alum of the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), her practice centres on sustainable, environmentally conscious design, favouring found and recyclable materials.
Her graphic design work spans print, digital, and spatial media, creating bold, accessible designs for government, not-for-profit, festivals, and community organisations. Her collaborations with the City of Melbourne, RISING Festival, and Stage School Australia have delivered campaigns and collateral seen by national audiences.
Grace’s set and costume designs have featured at both Adelaide and Melbourne Fringe Festival, performance venues across Melbourne, including La Mama, and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. She completed set fabrication training at Form Imagination on productions including Hadestown (Korean tour) and Moulin Rouge! (Australian premiere).
